To support the development of STEM skills in young men of color, OHBM launched the Robotics 100 Program in 2015. For five weeks in the summer, 50 students work with instructors and interns to study science and engineering concepts, learn JAVA programming, collaborate in teams, and eventually create a fully-functional robot with mobility and voice capabilities. The program also includes student field trips, workshops with scientists, and participation in the annual FIRST Robotic Competitions.
